They are right - at an elevation of 1,500 meters, they set their pulse in motion while breathing in the fresh mountain air.
The positive high-altitude climate, which is so valuable for red blood cells and so much more, will reward you royally for your efforts. It's no wonder that professional athletes, such as cycling teams, prepare for the Tour de France by training at high altitudes to tackle the challenges of the tour. Conveniently, right at the middle station, three well-marked Nordic walking trails of varying difficulty levels start.
