Driving a Pistenbully on the Gerlitzen in Carinthia

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to control a 300 horsepower Pistenbully over snowy slopes? Now you can experience it firsthand. Exclusive to Alpinhotel, we offer the unique experience of "Pistenbully rides" with our hotel's own grooming vehicle. What's special about it? Guests not only get to enjoy the ride as passengers, feeling the power beneath their seats, but they can also take the driver's seat themselves.

During a driving course that includes instructions, participants learn from an instructor how to maneuver the 300 horsepower Bully on the snowy slopes of Gerlitzen. The price is 170 euros per person for 30 minutes, which includes a souvenir T-shirt and a driver's license. The requirements are a minimum age of 18, possession of a valid driver's license for cars, and wearing winter-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear (no ski boots).

Passengers can enjoy the ride in a relaxed manner inside the driver's cabin (43 euros per 1/2 hour per person) or in the passenger transport cabin (19 euros per 1/2 hour per person). The rides start from Alpinhotel Pacheiner, but upon request and for an additional fee, an individual starting point can be arranged.
