FOR SOPHISTICATED INDIVIDUALISTS

Observation Deck

Above to the stars

An unforgettable experience for all who want to catch a glimpse of the peak of the Großglockner (the highest mountain in Austria), the Karawanken mountain range, or the Julian Alps, or for those who would like to visually get closer to the sun.

On the observation deck stands a refractor telescope, the Celestron 80mm, half-apochromatic lens. A Herschel Prism guarantees safe observation of the sun. With this we can see the Photosphere, each layer of the sun’s atmosphere. Dark, somewhat cooler spots, so-called sunspots, some of which are several times larger than our Earth, are visible.
